Finding the right perspective is the first step towards the answer (which is most certainly not 42!)

This is the kind of project that captures my imagination. Brilliant! I want to do a similar project.

Speculations on why "17" is the most popular "random" number. According to the New Hacker's dictionary, this used to be a well-known fact at MIT! :-)

Very nicely done video: in 60 seconds it shows how a good looking, but real, woman is turned into an impeccably beautuful face on a billboard. The process includes makeup as well as photoshopping.

Talking about British classics, someone has uploaded episodes of the old britcom "'Allo 'Allo" on youtube, It is about a cafe owner in occupied France and the twisted plots he finds himself in. French dialogue is represented by English spoken with a French accent. In a later episode a new character enters the scene: an English spy posing as a French gendarme who speaks French with an accent. Imagine how that is represented!

Now that I have a flat-rate GPRS subscription and a phone that supports streaming audio (realplayer), I have been trying out various Internet radio stations during my 30-min commute each way. BBC7 is one of my favourites. Mostly replays of classics. But not having had a chance to hear the classics (like the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy) in the first place, they are all new to me.
